# Wool Out! vs Screw Machine

The clearest difference is update cadence: Screw Machine at every 4 days against Wool Out!'s every 10 days. Screw Machine also leads on ratings volume (378 vs 42). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wool Out! sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Screw Machine sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Wool Out! against 4.9 for Screw Machine. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screw Machine has 378 ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wool Out! ships an update every 10 days, Screw Machine every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
