# Pallet vs Parcel Trace

The clearest difference is rating: Parcel Trace at 5.0 against Pallet's 4.8. Parcel Trace also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Pallet's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs paid) and chart position (#174 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pallet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Parcel Trace sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Parcel Trace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pallet has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pallet ships an update every 3 days, Parcel Trace every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
