# Fretboard Sessions vs Dico Pattern

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Dico Pattern at 15.0 against Fretboard Sessions's 17.6. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fretboard Sessions sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dico Pattern sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
