# Orbitimer vs DeskTabby

The clearest difference is update cadence: DeskTabby at every 5 days against Orbitimer's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbitimer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and DeskTabby sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orbitimer ships an update every 3 weeks, DeskTabby every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
