# Closer vs ppip

The clearest difference is update cadence: ppip at weekly against Closer's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Closer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and ppip sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Closer ships an update every 3 weeks, ppip weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
