# Notch vs Dedset

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notch at every 3 days against Dedset's fortnightly. Notch also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Dedset sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notch ships an update every 3 days, Dedset fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
