# Monostroke vs Block Cub

The clearest difference is update cadence: Monostroke at daily against Block Cub's every 2 days. Monostroke also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Monostroke sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Block Cub sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Monostroke ships an update daily, Block Cub every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
