# Rivet vs DeadlineNest

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rivet at every 3 days against DeadlineNest's every 11 days. DeadlineNest's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rivet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and DeadlineNest sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rivet ships an update every 3 days, DeadlineNest every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
