# Rivet vs ManualBook

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rivet at every 3 days against ManualBook's every 4 months. ManualBook's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rivet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ManualBook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rivet ships an update every 3 days, ManualBook every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
