# Rivet vs Simple Schedule

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rivet at every 3 days against Simple Schedule's every 6 days. Rivet also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Simple Schedule's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rivet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Simple Schedule sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rivet ships an update every 3 days, Simple Schedule every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
