# VibeWidgets vs Backtick

The clearest difference is update cadence: Backtick at weekly against VibeWidgets's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VibeWidgets sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Backtick sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VibeWidgets ships an update every 6 months, Backtick weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
