# Crispy vs Video Compressor

The clearest difference is ads: Video Compressor at none against Crispy's shown. Video Compressor also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crispy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Video Compressor sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
