# Crispy vs Reduce Video Size

The clearest difference is ads: Reduce Video Size at none against Crispy's shown. Reduce Video Size also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crispy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Reduce Video Size sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crispy ships an update every 2 months, Reduce Video Size weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
