# Oversecure VPN vs Aurora VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Aurora VPN at 5.0 against Oversecure VPN's 4.4. Aurora VPN also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Oversecure VPN's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oversecure VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and Aurora VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aurora VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oversecure VPN has 21 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
