# Ferment Tracker vs CookKeep

The clearest difference is ads: Ferment Tracker at none against CookKeep's shown. CookKeep's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ferment Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and CookKeep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
