# HABIT vs Handoff

The clearest difference is ads: HABIT at none against Handoff's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HABIT sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Handoff sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
