# Hook vs PROXOD User

The clearest difference is rating: PROXOD User at 5.0 against Hook's 4.2. PROXOD User also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). Hook's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hook sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days. PROXOD User asks for nothing beyond the download.

PROXOD User holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hook has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
