# Dual Flip Clock vs AlwaysOn

The clearest difference is rating: Dual Flip Clock at 5.0 against AlwaysOn's 4.7. AlwaysOn's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dual Flip Clock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlwaysOn has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Dual Flip Clock ships an update every 10 days, AlwaysOn every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
