# Steppet vs HAMPAS

The clearest difference is update cadence: HAMPAS at every 2 days against Steppet's every 6 days. HAMPAS also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steppet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HAMPAS sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steppet ships an update every 6 days, HAMPAS every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
