# Block Forge vs Köken

The clearest difference is ads: Block Forge at none against Köken's shown. Block Forge also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Köken's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Forge sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Köken sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Forge ships an update every 2 weeks, Köken every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
