# Ricochet vs Pivot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pivot at every 5 days against Ricochet's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ricochet sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Pivot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ricochet ships an update every 3 weeks, Pivot every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
