# Spry vs Balance Trainer

The clearest difference is rating: Spry at 5.0 against Balance Trainer's 4.4. Balance Trainer's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (38 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spry sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Balance Trainer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spry holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Balance Trainer has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spry ships an update monthly, Balance Trainer weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
