# Scribe Skate vs ROLLS

The clearest difference is ads: Scribe Skate at none against ROLLS's shown. ROLLS's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scribe Skate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and ROLLS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scribe Skate ships an update every 2 weeks, ROLLS every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
