# Unscroll vs AppHold

The clearest difference is update cadence: AppHold at every 5 days against Unscroll's fortnightly. Unscroll's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unscroll sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and AppHold sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Unscroll ships an update fortnightly, AppHold every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
