# Wanderjet vs Focus Train

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Train at 5.0 against Wanderjet's 4.0. Focus Train also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Wanderjet's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wanderjet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Focus Train sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Train holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Wanderjet's written reviews are positive against 95% of Focus Train's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wanderjet ships an update fortnightly, Focus Train every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
