# Motif vs Tether

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Tether at 18 against Motif's 26.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Motif sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tether sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
