# TypePress vs Pomodoro Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Pomodoro Timer at 5.0 against TypePress's 2.5. TypePress's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TypePress sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Pomodoro Timer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
