# Comix Reader vs iLib

The clearest difference is update cadence: Comix Reader at weekly against iLib's fortnightly. iLib's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Comix Reader ships an update weekly, iLib fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
