# Rizen vs Focal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focal at weekly against Rizen's every 5 weeks. Focal also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rizen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Focal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rizen ships an update every 5 weeks, Focal weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
