Gokaku Quest brings Japanese school subjects, qualification exams, language study and driving theory practice together in one learning app. Choose from 12 available subjects and grow a kingdom of 16 territories as you learn. AVAILABLE SUBJECTS School (entrance exams): Science, Social Studies, Japanese language arts and Mathematics. Qualifications: Real Estate (TakKen), Financial Planning (FP), Bookkeeping, IT Passport and SPI3. Languages: Japanese (JLPT, JFT-Basic and daily life) and practical English. Driving theory: free to study. STUDY YOUR WAY Choose a subject, follow a course map or unit list, answer short quizzes and read explanations. Browse illustrated reference pages, replay supported audio and revisit missed questions. Track progress and use separate learner profiles. Social Studies can also be studied by region (seven regions of Japan), explanations show small furigana on harder kanji, and one switch reads questions aloud automatically. SPEAKING PRACTICE WITH AI In the English and Japanese courses you can practise conversation out loud with an AI partner: everyday English and grammar lessons, and Japanese role-plays for daily life in Japan. You get more natural phrasing, translations and a sentence to try next (3 free lessons a day, 30 with Pro). KINGDOM MAP Correct answers earn experience and raise your kingdom's rank. Each rank opens new land around the capital — 15 territories such as a harbor town, a lakeside town and a snow country — where you place buildings and watch your towns grow. FREE & PRO Free learning content is provided, including driving theory. Eligible premium content is offered via auto-renewing Pro subscriptions (one subject, the four school subjects, or all subjects). Check current pricing, renewal terms and included courses on the in-app purchase sheet. Restore eligible previous purchases. Some content requires a download. Most Japanese examination materials are in Japanese; multilingual guidance and audio availability vary by course. This is an independent study aid, not an official examination body app. Exam success is not guaranteed.
