# Dotted vs Magnet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Magnet at every 4 days against Dotted's weekly. Dotted's advantage is device support (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dotted sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Magnet sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dotted ships an update weekly, Magnet every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
