# Nikki vs Ember

The clearest difference is ads: Nikki at none against Ember's shown. Nikki also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nikki sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Ember sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
