# DayPad vs Note

The clearest difference is rating: DayPad at 5.0 against Note's 4.0. DayPad also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Note's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayPad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayPad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

DayPad ships an update every 2 weeks, Note every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
