# FocusDrop vs Backtrack

The clearest difference is update cadence: FocusDrop at every 3 weeks against Backtrack's every 3 months. FocusDrop also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusDrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Backtrack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusDrop ships an update every 3 weeks, Backtrack every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
