# Tasks vs PriorityStack

The clearest difference is ads: Tasks at none against PriorityStack's shown. Tasks also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). PriorityStack's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tasks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PriorityStack sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tasks ships an update every 2 weeks, PriorityStack every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
