# Sentinote vs Write

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Write at none against Sentinote's 3. Sentinote's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sentinote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Write asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sentinote ships an update every 2 days, Write every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
