# QCNotes vs Tymio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tymio at every 4 days against QCNotes's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QCNotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Tymio sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QCNotes ships an update every 3 months, Tymio every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
