# DDchat AI vs Handwritten Digital Notes

The clearest difference is ads: DDchat AI at none against Handwritten Digital Notes's shown. DDchat AI also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). Handwritten Digital Notes's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DDchat AI sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Handwritten Digital Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
