# iBug vs InsectKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: iBug at weekly against InsectKit's every 2 months. iBug also leads on iOS requirement (15.2 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iBug sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and InsectKit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iBug ships an update weekly, InsectKit every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
