# Lockyn vs LooksMaxBro

The clearest difference is ads: LooksMaxBro at none against Lockyn's shown. LooksMaxBro also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Lockyn's advantage is ratings volume (226 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.4 vs 17.2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lockyn sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and LooksMaxBro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Lockyn against 5.0 for LooksMaxBro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lockyn has 226 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lockyn ships an update every 3 weeks, LooksMaxBro every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
