# A Basket Case vs Failed Hero

The clearest difference is update cadence: Failed Hero at every 3 days against A Basket Case's every 2 weeks. Failed Hero also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A Basket Case sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Failed Hero sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

A Basket Case ships an update every 2 weeks, Failed Hero every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
