# ScriptPad vs Picabulary

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Picabulary at none against ScriptPad's 9. Picabulary also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). ScriptPad's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScriptPad sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Picabulary asks for nothing beyond the download.

ScriptPad ships an update fortnightly, Picabulary every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
