# Mathio vs Faraday

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Faraday at 16.0 against Mathio's 18.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mathio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Faraday sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mathio ships an update every 3 days, Faraday every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
