# Flight Log vs Pilot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pilot at every 4 days against Flight Log's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Log sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Pilot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Log ships an update every 6 weeks, Pilot every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
