# Ritsu vs LeafTrove

The clearest difference is update cadence: LeafTrove at every 2 days against Ritsu's fortnightly. Ritsu's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ritsu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LeafTrove sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ritsu ships an update fortnightly, LeafTrove every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
