# NomadMetrics vs DueCat

The clearest difference is monetization model: NomadMetrics at free against DueCat's freemium. NomadMetrics also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.6). DueCat's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NomadMetrics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DueCat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NomadMetrics against 5.0 for DueCat. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

NomadMetrics ships an update every 3 days, DueCat every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
