# TTS Reader vs Shiori Player

The clearest difference is device support: TTS Reader at 3 against Shiori Player's 1. TTS Reader also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TTS Reader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Shiori Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
