# Ask Finn vs ChatGXT

The clearest difference is rating: Ask Finn at 5.0 against ChatGXT's 4.4. ChatGXT's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ask Finn sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ChatGXT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ask Finn holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChatGXT has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ask Finn ships an update every 5 weeks, ChatGXT weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
