# Chat Series vs OffScript

The clearest difference is ads: Chat Series at none against OffScript's shown. Chat Series also leads on device support (3 vs 1). OffScript's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chat Series sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and OffScript sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chat Series ships an update weekly, OffScript every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
