# TorqueVault vs Matrix

The clearest difference is update cadence: Matrix at every 3 days against TorqueVault's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TorqueVault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Matrix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TorqueVault ships an update monthly, Matrix every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
